On the output type configuration, for the Mail Title and Text, enter: &XNAST-OBJKY& to get the invoice # on the subject of the email.
E.g., to have a subject with the company name, it could be Shell &XNAST-OBJKY&.
Have a text in the body of the email, that is not supported (as far as I know) by standard configuration for external send (5). If this is a requirement, you may need an abap coding for the output program (Z…….RLB_INVOICE).

Thanks for feedback. Got the email subject and the PDF file name working well as you described plus I had to add SAPLV60A (Program) and TEXT_SYMBOL_REPLACE (FORM Routine) in the ‘General Data’ tab. Further to that I added SAPLV60A (Program) and MAILAKTIONSPARAMETER (FORM Routine) in the ‘Mail’ tab. Did this as per OSS NOTE 49174.
With respect to the text in the body of the email meeting with ABAP lead for some assistance. Will post back how we do it.

go to T CODE -NACE . Selec the application sales V1 and go to the Selection
Contion type . and for the Condition type selcet the MAil title and &
text .
and double clik the text note . it will expand . enter your text . so
when ever its triggering the mail it will carry the text what you entered in
the text.
